About
Abdulrahman M. Yaqyn — software and systems. Based in 6th of October City, Egypt, with an accounting background and projects across business operations, AI applications, and Linux.
A business background, a systems approach
An accounting background shapes my attention to records, responsibilities, and handoffs. The starting point is understanding the work, then shaping the data and interfaces around it.
Career projects
HyperQuote is a building-materials procurement platform. It connects customers, sales, internal operations, management, dispatch, and drivers, from a material request to its delivery.
The work includes orders, inventory, suppliers, warehousing, fleet, finance, and customer-service workflows; natural-language ordering and a RAG-based company-information assistant; and customer, operations, and driver experiences around shared data.
Modern is a bilingual construction-company website. Its service and project pages carry visitor context into an inquiry, with English and Arabic layouts, both reading directions, and light/dark themes.
Stockroom is a private warehouse evaluation prototype for receiving, storage suggestions, and internal transfers. It uses Python, SQLite, and browser JavaScript. It is not connected to Odoo or intended for live inventory operation in its current form.
Client application source lives in Yaqyn Development. The public organization gallery links to approved HyperQuote and Modern showcases and explains the development workflow.
Personal projects
qvOS is a standalone Arch Linux distribution in active development, with its own desktop, tools, installer, and release lifecycle. A keyboard-first Hyprland environment supports daily development and automation, while installation, updates, and recovery remain part of the same system. Public ISO downloads are not available yet.
Package foundation: Omarchy’s signed Stable repositories, distributed through Cloudflare, support the focus on stability.
Counter is a native Omarchy plugin for quiet counting. It reserves a chosen key, displays the total in the bar, and saves the total and key across restarts. A native panel supplies Reset, Undo, and key selection without interrupting counting.
Learning journey projects
These Go and Python projects began in the Boot.dev curriculum and grew through independent extensions. They cover private notes and link workspaces, APIs, containerized services, retrieval, asynchronous crawling, terminal interfaces, and games. Each repository documents behavior and limitations alongside the code.

AI in the development process
Claude Code and Codex support implementation, debugging, and code review. The process starts with clear requirements and continues through review, tests, and direct use. I remain responsible for the decisions and the resulting work.
From requirements to verification
The starting point is a user task and its handoff: what initiates it, which records change, who acts next, and how failure should be handled. Implementation connects the interface to those rules; review and relevant checks determine what can be claimed about the result.
Local checks, CI, and live verification answer different questions. A successful push does not by itself establish deployed behavior.
